Featured Presentation at Celebration of Teaching and Learning
Danie Edelson, director of the GEODE Initiative, will be a featured speaker at the Second Annual Celebration of Teaching and Learning, sponsored by Channel 13/WNET, in New York City.   He will be discussing My World GIS and some of the curriculum projects of the GEODE Initiative.

GLOBE Watershed Dynamics Workshop
GLOBE and The Geographic Data in Education (GEODE) Initiative at Northwestern University are looking for middle school and high school science teachers to participate in an exciting earth science education project that connects students with real scientific data sets.

Join us for a three-day teacher workshop, from August 7th to the 9th, in Boulder, Colorado that will introduce you to the Watershed Dynamics project supported in part by the National Science Foundation and NASA.  Travel support may be available for a limited number of non-local participants.
